We are committed to minimising our environmental impact and fostering eco-friendly initiatives. One of our key sustainability efforts involves harnessing solar energy for hot water systems, reducing our reliance on conventional energy sources. Our commitment extends to water conservation, with rainwater tanks in place to harvest and repurpose rainwater for our gardens, and recycled water systems ensuring responsible water usage. To minimize waste, we've introduced composting systems throughout our facilities, turning organic waste into nutrient-rich compost and promoting soil health. By integrating these initiatives into our operations, we aim to provide a comfortable and environmentally conscious experience for our guests, embodying the principles of responsible tourism.

Supporting Local Business

Kilifi is home to many great carpenters, basket weavers, sculptures, artists and seamstresses and as such, a number of our furnishings are crafted by our local Kilifi community.

We work with a network of preferred local fisherman from the area who deliver fresh produce and catch-of-the-day to the kitchen door.
